ICYMI: There are a lot of exciting things happening at CrashPlan! Some you may have noticed and some are behind the scenes. Here’s a quick recap:
We now offer more products!
We officially acquired Parablu, a leading provider of data security and resiliency solutions known for its market-leading offerings protecting Microsoft 365 (M365) data. By acquiring Parablu, our ability to deliver comprehensive backup and recovery solutions for servers, endpoint devices, and SaaS applications is significantly bolstered. With similar visions and complementary product suites, our combined competencies will be able to accelerate CrashPlan’s growth.
We did a brand refresh!
Because we acquired a company, we decided to do a brand refresh. We will remain CrashPlan because, well, we love our name – and it’s fitting for what we do. Our updated mark symbolizes the ongoing cycle of data backup and recovery, encompassing not just files (like the previous mark), but all data – including SaaS application data. So, new mark, but same commitment to protecting data wherever it resides.
We have a new payment processor for a better customer experience!
Last year, we launched a new shopping cart with a new payment processor for all our new customers. It didn’t take us long to realize our existing customers still paying through our old payment processors would benefit too. So over the last several months we have been migrating MSPs, Small Business, and other customers on older plans to Paddle. Paddle is a payment processor and merchant of record trusted by thousands of businesses worldwide, and we believe that its simplicity, flexibility, and ease of use make it an ideal choice. If you aren’t sure if you have migrated yet or not, please read more about how to manage your CrashPlan online subscription.
